As a doula I provide continuous emotional and physical support before, during, and after labor. I assist families to gather information about the course of their labor and their options. And I stay by your side throughout labor offering help and advice on comfort measures such as breathing, relaxation, movement and positioning.
Labor support includes
- 1-2 prenatal visits
- 24 hour on call support and phone consultations
- Continuous support throughout the labor
- Massage and position changing
- Digital photos during and after labor
- Immediate breastfeeding support
- One follow up postpartum visit

As a doula I help nurture the mother and by offering her emotional support, helping her to recover faster and find the confidence she and her partner needs to meet the challenges of a new baby.
I am trained as a newborn specialist to assist and answer questions in a non-judgmental way.
Postpartum support includes
- Education on infant care
- Foster family bonding
- Breastfeeding support (referral to a lactation consultant if needed)
- Spend time with the baby so family will have time to rest
- Run errands and shop for groceries
- Assist in household organization
- Organize nursery for infant care
- Prepare nutritious food
- Offer a listening, non-judgmental ear
- Phone contact as needed
Cost:
$45 per hour (sold in 16-hour packages)

Baby Steps: 4-hour package: $200
A one-time session to ensure that you and your family are off to a good start after birth. During the 4 hours I can answer questions, assist with breastfeeding, and help ease your mind during the first couple of weeks of postpartum.
